Rosa Parks Apartments
Chicago, Illinois

As the design architect, I developed a consistent language for this eight building development on scattered sites in Chicago’s West Humboldt Park neighborhood. Comprised of 94 affordable rental units, the buildings vary from 6 to 27 apartments and are all a variation on a theme of the same modular facade. Only two types of windows are used throughout the development, and scattered colored bays project from the front and rear elevations adding definition and interest to the facades.
